Finnpave, the specialist surfacing division of Finning (UK) Ltd, report consistent growth in both product sales and service support.

Since the acquisition from Finnpave founder John Finn in 2001, the company has consolidated it’s position as the supplier of the market-leading range of Bitelli Planers and Pavers and developed to become the exclusive distributor of Caterpillar compactors for the UK surfacing industry.

Building on its successful relationships with smaller contracting businesses, the company is now meeting objectives to develop business with major contractors, an achievement which Greg Mulhearn, Finnpave’s General Manager is particularly proud of.

"The last 2 years have seen significant developments at every level of the business", he said. "We have introduced many new products from Bitelli and Caterpillar and also concentrated on our service delivery, which we believe now positions us at the forefront of this industry in meeting customers needs".

Considerable investments have been made to develop the company’s infrastructure with the objective to position the company as a centre of excellence for the surfacing industry. This has been recently acknowledged during 2003 with the company gaining the Lloyds Register Quality Assurance Award; BSENISO. 9001.2000.

"This has been a record year for Finnpave as we have taken 50% of the paver market and we are confident our growth will continue through the expanding range of planers and the new E Series asphalt compactors from Caterpillar", Greg added.
