Operator Training
OPERATOR TRAINING ON PAVING MACHINES
This is a one-day training course, carried out by a Finnpave, Field Service Engineer, who is an approved trained instructor.
The course offers instruction on the operation of the machine, the principles of laying tarmac, and it also goes into detail with regards to the safety aspects of operating the machine
On successful completion of the course a certificate will be awarded to say that on the day of training the trainee was competent at operating paving machines.
LOCATION
This course is normally held at your site, on your machine but other arrangements may be able to be arranged if necessary.
ON THE DAY OF TRAINING
On the day of training we ask that all trainees bring with them, 2 passport sized photos and a photocopy of their driving license or another form of formal identification such as a copy of their passport.
They will be asked to fill in an application form and they will be required to sign a register in front of the instructor, to confirm attendance.
When training has been completed, we will forward applications to our certificate provider for approval and for certificates to be issued. Our certificate provider requires us to submit proof of identification for each candidate and certificates will not be issued without this.
MINIMUM AGES
To operate a Paver on site operators must be at least 18.
To operate a Paver on the public highway they must be 21, and have a full valid driving licence.
With this in mind we ask that all trainees, are at least 18 on the day of training.
